So today marks the unofficial but still international “No Bra day”. Twitter along other social media pages soon flooded with happy posts from women and men alike celebrating the day in a humorous (yet serious for some) way. First some posts, then some history.
So…what about us Lebanese? Where do we stand from the humor or history???
In the endless search for our identity, whether it the be pseudo-westernized self-image (with both negative and positive aspects) or ultra conservatism…We wish you a happy no-bra-day, because any day which brings us closer to women’s rights, liberation or even humor is worth mentioning!

If they thought things were bad back then, there are no limits now. Really though, I don’t see anyone holding a gun on the countless women posing in every concievable position today sans clothes. So who is using who? By the way, as a young man of that era I was on a livestock judging team and my friends and I would grade the girls flank, rib, rump, brisket and udders as they went by. How horrible.—sage
